This application allows authorized personnel to apply to access educational credential and/or criminal history information contained within the Colorado Department of Education's eLicensing database. This access is closely regulated by CDE to ensure proper and responsible use of data for the purposes granted to specific agencies under state law.

To successfully apply, you must hold one of the following types of employment:

• human resources representative at a Colorado school district or charter school
• member of an investigative unit at a Colorado school district or charter school
• certification/licensure officer at an institution of higher education offering a program for preparation of educators which has been approved by the Colorado State Board of Education
